Under the direction of Hal S. Scott, Director of PIFS and Nomura Professor at Harvard Law School, PIFS specializes in conducting significant and comprehensive research on capital markets, financial regulation, and international finance. The body of work includes careful examination and analysis of such topics as proposed financial regulatory legislation, capital adequacy requirements for banks and insurance companies, federalism and financial regulation, and enforcement of risk-based capital rules. PIFS is available to perform research on a range of financial regulatory issues and has delivered such work for major firms in the United States and worldwide.
