Academic Programs

Since the 2013-2014 academic year, the Law School replaced its International Finance concentration with a more flexible approach to curricular offerings in the field.  All of the elements of the International Finance concentration have remained in the HLS curriculum and  students interested in the subject matter are invited to explore the related course offerings previously required of IF concentration participants (Regulation of Financial Institutions, Securities Regulation, International Finance and Capital Markets Regulation; see links below).  This revised approach will give LL.Ms more flexibility in selecting HLS courses and in complying with new requirements of the New York State Bar.  Students interested in International Finance are welcome to visit Professors Jackson and Scott during office hours to discuss HLS course offerings and research opportunities.

Office hours for Professor Scott are by appointment.
To schedule an appointment, please contact Josi Chapman at or at 617-495-3579
